Hi Dolphins! 

As hard as it is to believe, we are coming to the close of the season already. Here are some quick "State of the Dolphins" notes:

• Two remaining meets:
  • @ Edgehill: Monday, July 10
  • Home against Wellington Waves: Monday, July 17: we will honor our graduation seniors at this meet! 
• End of season ice cream gathering: Thursday, July 20 at 6:00 p.m. at the KP Clubhouse
• Champs: if your swimmer is qualified for Champs, you will be notified in a separate e-mail with information about additional practices, volunteer needs, and logistics for the Champs Meet
  • Champs Qualifying Times can be found at:VPSU Champs Times
  • There's an optional Summer Awards @ Ford's Colony on July 22: this is an additional chance to qualify for Champs, but we do not attend as a team (parents of any participating swimmers are responsible for fulfilling volunteer requirements with hosting team).

Last, but certainly not least, if you and your kiddos love summer swim (or even like it a lot and really want it to continue!), PLEASE consider stepping up for one of the following leadership roles - we will not have a team next year if no one is willing to take on these responsibilities:

• President (interview/hire coaches, arrange pool use with KP Club, generally oversee operations of team, communicate with team members regarding registration, etc)
• VPSU Rep (attend monthly VPSU meetings, discuss VPSU policies and procedures, inform KP Dolphin Leadership of necessary information from the league)
• Meet Referee 
• Volunteer Coordinator (organize meet volunteer requirements, explain roles, ensure coverage for all shifts at home and away meets)
