The Kingspoint Dolphins look forward to hosting your team at our pool for your away meet. Here is some essential information for your leadership team and swim team families. Please email [email protected] if you have questions or need anything!

Parking

See parking diagram. Cars will park along Northpoint Dr. and in the field adjacent to the Kingspoint Clubhouse driveway. There will be a parking attendant.  

Team Set Up/What to Bring

• See pool set-up diagram.
• Please set up on the right side of the pool upon entering through the pool gate.
• There are limited poolside chairs for use, so we recommend that families bring chairs and bug spray. 
• There are additional shaded grassy areas and picnic tables outside of the pool area where swimmer families are welcome to sit. 

Meet Timing

• Kingspoint will start warm ups at 5:00pm
• Visiting team will start warm ups at 5:30pm.
• Stroke & Turn Meeting at 5:40pm
• Timer Meeting at 5:50pm 
• We will plan to start the meet promptly at 6:00pm

Concessions

• We will have a traditional concession stand with hamburgers/cheeseburgers, hot dogs, drinks, and assorted chips and candy. 
• Cash and Venmo will be accepted (sadly we do not currently take credit cards).
• Concessions are available next to the clubhouse starting between 5-5:30 p.m.

Volunteer Needs

We kindly request:

• 9 timers per half
  • We do not have time drops (yet), so please bring some stopwatches for your timers
• 2 stroke and turn officials per half
• 1 clerk of course per half for your team
• 1-2 scorers per half
  • Please have your scorers bring a laptop or tablet.
  • We have a password-protected WiFi network that your scorers can log in to. 
• 1 volunteer per half to assist with ribbons

Scoring & Ribbons

• Heat Sheets and Timer Sheets: YES Kingspoint will supply
• Relay Cards: YES Kingspoint will supply
• Printer/Ribbon Labels: YES Kingspoint will supply
  • We follow the VPSU ribbon guidelines and award places one through six.
  • We also provide participation ribbons for all swimmers 10 and under.
